Our Vision

South Africa is best known for our rainbow nation and our diverse culture and heritage. The business is primarily focused on youth development. Ubunye Africa is a company that strives to build a brighter future by employing young skilled South Africans, irrespective of race, gender and disability through the spirit of ubuntu.
The company was founded by Llewelyn Pillay in 2014, who studied Civil Engineering. “Having worked in the construction industry, it has become my passion. I take pleasure in seeing an idea develop from a plan into a structure. I started my internship in civil quality control, and I have been very zealous about producing quality that our clients can appreciate.”
By 2022 we anticipate Ubunye Africa to be one of the leading construction companies in Africa thus creating jobs for young South Africans and therefore reducing the unemployment rate in our country.
The company comprises of a team of skilled supervisors and foremen who have been in the construction industry for more than 30 years, coupled with young talent that bring fresh and innovative ideas to the construction industry.
We have also created a campaign known as the Zimbokodo Project. This program is aimed specifically at females to encourage them to seek a career in engineering and construction.
